James has over 20+ years experience developing, executing IT strategies in support of business objectives, with a hands on approach, an extensive working knowledge of AWS, Azure infrastructures, Business Automation, enterprise architecture, ERP Implementation/Migrations, Web Development, Network Administration, Project Management, Software Development, SDLC, project management, security audits, assessments, and penetration testing. He started his career as a consultant in Ybor City Tampa Fl, hired by a client, Jack Bichsel, as IT Manager for Staffing Options Inc, before creating Innovative Options.com, Inc. in 2001. Through 2011, James ran Innovative Options.com, Inc., creating IT roadmaps for organizations, that directly supported the objectives of business leaders, consistent with and in support of business goals. Where he built, managed, migrated, remotely managed, and secured infrastructures, provided hosting (dedicated servers), remote data backups, disaster recovery, business continuity, custom software, security assessments, audits, penetration testing, and automating businesses, manufacturing and service environments, utilizing a domain driven design, Object-Oriented Analysis (OOA), Object-Oriented Design (OOD), and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Throughout his career, James has built, an accounting system, association management system, auctions, CRM, CMS, 2500 ecommerce stores, online elections, 9 eLearning LMS platforms, 93 email marketing systems, 12 document systems, digital ID system, key loggers, screen capture systems, and 3 point of sale software. In addition, James globally served clients like The Private Bank of Bank of America, Staffing Options, Sey Charters, VCVG enterprises, ROF. With a solution oriented approach to the use of technology, James built NAUI/NAUI Services Group Inc internal systems, SaaS products, and he was instrumental in growing both the non-profit and for-profit companies. From 2012 - 2015, NAUI/NAUI Services Group Inc, NAUI went through a dramatic Board of Director change. However, James continued to provide technology leadership through the transition and beyond. Today James applies his rich technical background, together with an understanding of modern information security requirements, to ensure Shift LMS Inc’s products continue to meet the high expectations of our clients.
